Here is a link to a public Canvas site that is basically an "information dump" for general eLearning resources: http://howardcc.instructure.com/courses/305183. 

  • The first Module outlines our online course evaluation process. 
  • The second Module begins with a handbook for online students called "eLearning Basics -- Skills for Being a Successful Online Learner."
This summer and fall, we will be piloting the online student readiness assessment from SmarterMeasure. The results of this survey, combined with the new Canvas Analytics, should provide excellent "actionable data" by which we can provide helpful intervention for at-risk students or for those who may not be fully prepared for the online learning environment. Very exciting stuff!
